whilst we can’t promise you his stilton and celery soup, jam roly poly or the copious amounts of cider he used in the show (it is a church after all), there will be refreshments available. Tickets are just £5 and can be purchased on the night or in advance by contacting Heather on hallard@tesco.net.
Thankfully the open day at the Bath Cats and Dogs Home stayed dry and a very enjoyable day was had by all and hopefully lots of money raised and a few animals re-homed with good families – it was certainly busy. When we heard the announcement that the judging was about to start for “most beautiful bitch” there were a few nominations from the band but we were too busy playing to make an entry.
We’d like to thank the Pensford Evergreen Club for their hospitality when we played there this month and congratulate the winner of the raffle who took away a copy of the band’s CD On the Bandstand and of course the winner of second prize which was two copies! (joke courtesy of Stefan Dera our 1st Trombone and resident comic, Stefan is available for Weddings, Bar Mitzvah’s and Funerals).
Remember to contact a band member for your copy of On the Bandstand our new CD and get along to the Midsomer Norton Methodist Church for 7:30 on the 16th to join us in our 30th Anniversary celebration.
